macOS AU
Logic Pro

Quick summary: macOS 12+, any modern Mac (Intel or Apple Silicon), Logic Pro or any AU-compatible DAW.
Apple Silicon recommended for best performance.
Minimum requirements
OS: macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
Processor: Intel or Apple Silicon (ARM64)
RAM: 8 GB minimum
Format: Audio Units (AU)
Disk: ~200 MB free per plugin
Internet: Required for login, trials, activation & licensing
Recommended system
Apple Silicon Macs offer the best performance and lowest CPU overhead with GYGO plugins.
DAW compatibility
All plugins are developed and tested using the Audio Units (AU) format on macOS.
- Logic Pro / Logic Pro X — fully tested
Other AU-compatible DAWs may work but are not officially tested or supported at this time.
Apple Silicon & Intel
All plugins ship as Universal Binaries — they run natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs with no Rosetta required.
Apple Silicon is strongly recommended for best performance and lowest CPU usage.
Performance & troubleshooting
Performance varies depending on CPU load, project size, sample rate, and buffer settings. Use reasonable buffer sizes and avoid heavy sessions on minimum-spec systems.
- Audio crackles → increase buffer size (256–1024 samples)
- Keep macOS and your DAW on the latest stable versions
- Plugin not showing → restart DAW and rescan Audio Units
Unsupported systems: Older macOS versions, low-memory configs, or unsupported DAWs may load the plugins but are not officially supported. Stability and performance cannot be guaranteed below minimum specs.
