Most common fix: Quit your DAW completely → reopen → run an AU rescan (Logic Plug-in Manager).
Install location for AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
Before you open a ticket
Please include:
  • Your macOS version (Apple menu → About This Mac)
  • Your DAW + version
  • Plugin name + version
  • Exact error text + a screenshot (if possible)
  • If it’s licensing: the email used for your GYGO account
Tip: If you just purchased, give it ~10–30 seconds, then reopen the plugin so it can refresh your license status.
Quick fixes
  • Restart your DAW (Logic especially caches AUs)
  • Reboot macOS if install/scan got stuck
  • Check Privacy & Security for “blocked” prompts after install
  • Try a fresh download if the installer fails
  • Increase buffer size (256 → 512 → 1024) if you hear crackles
Supported baseline: macOS 12+ · 8GB RAM minimum · Intel or Apple Silicon

Common issues (click to expand)
  • Confirm you’re logging into the plugin with the same email as your portal account.
  • If you just purchased, wait ~10–30 seconds and reopen the plugin (it refreshes status).
  • If you hit activation limit, release an old machine in the Portal → Activations.
  • If it still fails, open a ticket and include the exact error text.
  • Quit Logic completely.
  • Open Logic Pro → Settings → Plug-in Manager and run a rescan.
  • Make sure the plugin is installed in: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
  • Reopen Logic. (Sometimes it takes one full restart after first install.)
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security. If you see a message about the plugin being blocked, click Allow Anyway, then reopen your DAW.
  • Download again (partial downloads can look “corrupted”).
  • Make sure you’re using the newest installer from the Portal.
  • If you’re on a corporate network, try another network (some proxies break downloads).
  • On macOS, you can also try: right-click the installer → Open.
  • Increase your DAW buffer size (try 256 → 512 → 1024).
  • Close heavy background apps (browser tabs can do it).
  • Apple Silicon is recommended for best performance.

GetYourGrooveOn plugins are standard macOS Audio Units. To uninstall:

  • Quit your DAW (Logic, GarageBand, etc.).
  • Open Finder and go to: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
  • Delete the plugin file (example: STONRFUZZ.component).
  • Restart your DAW.

License / activation note: Uninstalling doesn’t delete your account or license. If you need to free an activation slot, do it in the Portal.

Audio Units are installed here:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
If you’re looking in your home folder Library, that’s a different location. Use the system Library path above.
