GYGO-BASS-ONE — instant bass authority Built to make bass feel finished fast.
BASSGROOVE is the heart of the plugin. At lower settings it adds clean body, harmonic lift, and forward motion. As you push it higher, the circuit opens up into richer color, stronger gain, and a dirtier fuzz-style edge while keeping the low end anchored. It is designed to feel musical across the whole range, from subtle enhancement to aggressive bass character.
EQ RANGE moves the voice of the bass from low and thick to brighter and more present. Turn it toward LO for weight, roundness, and old-school depth. Turn it toward HI for more definition, bite, and note clarity in a dense mix. BASS BOOST adds focused low-end weight below the body of the instrument. Use it when the bass needs more size without reaching for a full EQ. It is especially useful for DI bass that feels small, thin, or disconnected from the kick. ATMOSPHERE blends in a short stereo ambience layer that gives the bass space and dimension. Keep it low for subtle width and depth, or push it higher when you want the bass to feel more produced and less dry.
IN and OUT gain sliders handle clean level staging before and after processing, both with a strong snap-to-unity feel at 0dB. The output stage includes peak protection to keep the plugin stable when the tone is pushed hard.
GYGO-BASS-ONE. Big bass, fast decisions.
GYGO-BASS-ONE is designed for fast bass shaping. The controls are simple, but each one covers a specific part of the bass sound: level, groove, tonal range, low-end weight, ambience, and final output. Start with BASSGROOVE, then use EQ RANGE and BASS BOOST to place the bass in the mix.
EQ RANGE → BASS BOOST → BASSGROOVE → IN Gain → ATMOSPHERE → Safety Limiter → OUT Gain
The main character and gain control. BASSGROOVE adds harmonic color, density, and forward movement to the bass.
A tone range control that shifts the bass from darker and heavier to brighter and more defined.
Engages a focused low shelf for extra bottom-end size. Use it when the bass needs more authority, especially on thin DI tracks.
BASS BOOST works best when the low end needs weight, not mud. If the kick and bass start fighting, reduce the input or output level slightly and use EQ RANGE to bring back definition.
Adds a short stereo ambience layer to give the bass space and width.
Clean input trim before the ambience and output stage. Use it to set a healthy level into the plugin. The fader snaps to 0dB for fast unity gain staging.
Final output trim after processing. Use OUT to match the processed level to the bypassed level, especially when BASSGROOVE or BASS BOOST add extra energy. The fader snaps to 0dB and the output stage includes peak protection for stability.
