GrooveStripp GTR is a complete guitar and bass signal chain in a single plugin — built for players who want studio-quality tone without the complexity.
Every module was designed to sound like real hardware — not a preset. Drive the input hard for natural saturation, dial in subtle compression to glue the tone together, and let the reverb breathe behind you. Or stack everything and push it into something completely its own. GrooveStripp GTR. Your whole rig. One plugin.
GrooveStripp GTR is a five-stage signal chain that runs left to right — Dirt → Compressor → Modulation → Delay → Reverb. Each module has its own Bypass button and Mix Level slider, so you can dial in exactly how much of each effect hits the final sound. The IN slider on the far left controls input gain, and the OUT slider on the right controls output level. Don't be afraid to push the IN slider — driving the input harder adds natural warmth and color before the signal even hits the Dirt stage.
The input slider is more than just a level control. Pushing it up drives the entire chain harder, adding natural saturation and color. If your Dirt isn't biting enough, try boosting the IN slider first — it feeds the whole signal path.
The first stop in the chain. Toggle between DIST and FUZZ using the mode button at the top.
DIST mode gives you smooth, musical distortion with a natural harmonic character. FUZZ mode is rawer and more aggressive — think vintage fuzz pedal. Both respond to how hard you drive the input, so experiment with the IN slider to find the sweet spot.
Sits after Dirt to control the dynamics of your distorted signal and glue everything together.
For guitar, subtle compression with a slow attack lets the pick attack through before clamping down. For bass, higher sustain with a medium body keeps the low end tight and even.
Toggle between CHORUS and FLANGER using the mode button.
Chorus adds lush width and movement — great for clean tones or light drive. Flanger is more dramatic with a jet-like sweep — works beautifully on heavily distorted tones for a vintage rock character.
A warm, analog-voiced echo with tone shaping on the feedback path.
The delay sits after modulation, so the echoes capture the full chorused or flanged texture of your tone.
A rich plate reverb based on the classic Dattorro algorithm — sits at the end of the chain so it spaces out everything that came before it.
Keep Mix Level subtle (2–4) for a natural sense of space. Push it higher for dramatic washes and ambient textures.
Final output level. Use it to match the plugin's output to your DAW's level, or push it slightly for extra presence and punch.
GrooveStripp GTR has 4 preset slots. To save a preset, dial in your settings, click SAVE, then click the slot number (1, 2, 3, or 4) you want to save to. To recall a preset, just click the slot number directly without pressing SAVE first.
Use the presets to save your go-to tones for different guitars, basses, or playing styles. Each slot stores the complete state of all five modules.
