GrooveStripp is a complete effect signal chain in a single plugin — built for anyone who wants studio-quality tone without the complexity.
Every module was designed to sound like real hardware — not a preset. Guitar, bass, vocals, keys, drums — run anything through it and it responds. Drive the input hard for natural saturation, dial in subtle compression to glue the tone together, and let the reverb breathe behind you. Or stack everything and push it into something completely its own. Found a tone you love? Hit GrooveShare and send it to anyone — one code, any DAW, instant recall. Build your own library of sounds, load a friend's patch, or share your best tones with the community. Great sound is better when it travels. GrooveStripp. Your whole signal chain. One plugin.
GrooveStripp is a five-stage professional signal chain that runs left to right — Dirt → Compressor → Modulation → Delay → Reverb. Each module has its own Bypass button and Mix Level slider, so you can dial in exactly how much of each effect hits the final sound. The IN slider on the far left controls input gain, and the OUT slider on the right controls output level. Don't be afraid to push the IN slider — driving the input harder adds natural warmth and color before the signal even hits the Dirt stage. GrooveStripp works on anything you put through it — guitar, bass, vocals, keys, drums. If it makes sound, it responds.
The input slider is more than just a level control. Pushing it up drives the entire chain harder, adding natural saturation and color. If your Dirt isn't biting enough, or your vocals need more presence, try boosting the IN slider first — it feeds the whole signal path.
The first stop in the chain. Toggle between DIST and FUZZ using the mode button at the top.
DIST mode gives you smooth, musical distortion with a natural harmonic character — adds presence and warmth to guitars, bass, and vocals alike. FUZZ mode is rawer and more aggressive — think vintage fuzz pedal or heavily saturated parallel vocal texture. Both respond to how hard you drive the input, so experiment with the IN slider to find the sweet spot. At low Drive and Mix settings, Dirt works as a subtle harmonic enhancer on any source.
Sits after Dirt to control the dynamics of your signal and glue everything together.
For guitar, subtle compression with a slow attack lets the pick attack through before clamping down. For bass, higher sustain with a medium body keeps the low end tight and even. For vocals, a moderate sustain with a medium attack smooths peaks without killing the natural dynamics of the performance. For drums, parallel compression at high Mix Level adds punch while keeping the transients intact.
Toggle between CHORUS and FLANGER using the mode button.
Chorus adds lush width and movement — great for clean guitar tones, bass width, or adding subtle depth to vocals without doubling them. Flanger is more dramatic with a jet-like sweep — works beautifully on distorted tones, bass, or as a creative effect on any source. At low depth and mix settings, Chorus works as a gentle stereo widener on almost anything.
A warm, analog-voiced echo with tone shaping on the feedback path.
The delay sits after modulation, so the echoes capture the full chorused or flanged texture of your tone. For vocals, a short slapback delay at low mix adds natural space and dimension. For guitar and bass, longer times with moderate feedback create depth without cluttering the mix. Push Feedback higher for ambient washes and trails on any source.
A rich plate reverb based on the classic Dattorro algorithm — sits at the end of the chain so it spaces out everything that came before it.
The Dattorro plate algorithm is one of the most musical reverb designs ever published — it handles vocals, guitar, bass, and drums with equal grace. Keep Mix Level subtle (2–4) for a natural sense of space. Push it higher for dramatic washes and ambient textures. On vocals, a dark Tone setting with moderate Decay gives a classic studio plate sound that sits behind the performance without overwhelming it.
Final output level. Use it to match the plugin's output to your DAW's level, or push it slightly for extra presence and punch.
GrooveStripp has 4 preset slots. To save a preset, dial in your settings, click SAVE, then click the slot number (1, 2, 3, or 4) you want to save to. To recall a preset, just click the slot number directly without pressing SAVE first.
Use the presets to save your go-to settings for different instruments, voices, or playing styles. Each slot stores the complete state of all five modules.
GrooveShare lets you share your exact plugin settings with anyone — or load a sound someone else has shared with you. Click the GrooveShare button in the header to open it.
When you open GrooveShare, your current settings are automatically encoded into a short code displayed at the top of the panel. Click Copy Code to copy it to your clipboard, then paste it anywhere — a message, a forum post, a social media comment. Anyone with GrooveStripp can paste that code and instantly load your exact sound.
Paste a GrooveShare code into the paste field and click Load. Your plugin will instantly recall the exact settings from that code. If the code is invalid or corrupted, the button will tell you — just double-check you copied the full code including the GYGO-GS-1: prefix at the start.
Licensed users can name and save sounds directly to a personal library on their computer. Type a name (up to 32 characters) into the name field and click Save to Library. Your saved sounds are stored locally and persist between sessions. Library sync across multiple machines is coming in a future update.
Click My Library -> to browse your saved sounds. Use the search field at the top to filter by name — useful when your library grows. Click Load next to any entry to recall it instantly, or Del to remove it. Trial users can copy and load codes — the full library is available with a licensed copy.
Every GrooveShare code starts with GYGO-GS-1: followed by a compact string of characters. This prefix identifies the code as a GrooveStripp patch — codes from other GetYourGrooveOn plugins use different prefixes and won't load into GrooveStripp. Keep the full code intact when sharing, including the prefix.
