Hi to all listeners,
For this track I need to supply my publishing company with some 'Sounds Like This Artist' info. If you have any ideas about similar sounding artists/tracks that are fairly well known could you please, if possible, leave a comment.
Thanks for your support.

Came up with the intro riff first. I thought it was weird initially and put it away for future use. After adding a rhythm part (the double stopped straight eighths) I’m thinkin’ yer this could go somewhere. Added a bassline that kept it chugging along. Grabbed the Adrenalinn again and added the soaring howling wind effect that can be heard in the left channel. Okay. I now have an intro/chorus.
Verse? Hmmm…I’ll sparse it down a bit to contrast the chorus. Choppy C to D stabs. Rollicking bass line though to maintain the momentum. Spicy arpeggios added in the background. Second half of second verse differs slightly with the appearance of a small chord based rhythm part which serves to add interest.
Middle 8? The brakes are firmly applied here with the use of a half time feel. Chordal base is an open D pedal tone whilst the fifth interval descends chromatically (similar to Alice Cooper’s Only Women Bleed). This is in the right channel. In the left are the same chords only arpeggiated. Bassline is a simple D bouncing to its octave. So with a half time feel creating a significant dynamic downshift how do you return to the chorus feel? I have no idea. So I did what all confused guitarists do. Time for a solo! However I did change the key to A to reinforce the introduction of a new part. The chords under the solo are Am7 to an Am7flattened7th. Hmmm that chord name doesn’t sound right but I know what I mean! Look at it as a C major triad at the 10th fret with a A bass then just flatten the G to an F#. Vibrato and Rotary effects applied. Harmonic notes also included. The solo has a quarter note delay on it which gives the impression a harmonizer was used on some notes. End part with an Em and a lone drum loop.
Outro is back to the chorus feel. Not sure if it works but I’d already spent too long on this tune and wanted to square it away. Next!
