New Pro Tools LE system! Two main chords, and an idea that jumped out in under ten minutes just to do a 'sound check' of sorts on my new recording toys (SM57 mic was used)...

    this song is really keen. i like your hard rock, but there is a soft spot in my head for acoustic. this song makes it happy and colourfull.

    Thanks! Not sure it's much of a song yet :) Usually when I compose these days I find 2-3 chord patterns that work (with a vocal idea loosely in mind since I can't sing) and then find some lead bits that run over it. I try to leave it open enough that the bass could find a home too. Anyhow, I will keep honing my Pro Tools skills (just got a "Mini" LE system) and try and flesh out some REAL songs on here! Thanks for the support, it helps to know there are people out there who would actually enjoy listening to a finished composition I might make. So far I've never completed an entire song end-to-end with all parts and production... that is one of my resolutions for this year... need to keep finding people to pitch in!
