Everyday I hold you close when you sob or cry,
And the streets we cross and all the places we pass by,
Daunting memories haunt us from the past,
Oh why don't you put your head to rest.
For every tree every animal every king,
For every star every moon is able to sing,
For every child every adult deserves to exist,
Even though we live like a solar eclipse.
And we keep up with life with the good and bad times,
Facing an uphill battle dealing with the lies,
Watching the sun rise after the dark black night,
Is like an angel holding her burning candlelight.
For every tree every animal every king,
For every star every moon is able to sing,
For every child every adult deserves to exist,
Even though we live like a solar eclipse.
I thought of writing a song about a solar eclipse because at school we are learning about space... AKA Astronomy!!!
